1. Overview
Caledon Mountain Trout Club ("CMTC") is committed to safeguarding the personal information of its members.
This policy outlines how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when members use the CMTC
mobile application. CMTC complies with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA.
2. Information Collected
The App collects only information necessary to provide member services, including identification information,
financial statement data, reservation and event registration details, and limited technical usage data.
3. Purpose of Collection
Information is collected to provide secure statement access, process reservations and event registrations,
maintain accurate membership records, and comply with legal and accounting obligations. Personal information
is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
4. Disclosure of Information
CMTC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Information may be shared only with authorized service
providers, when required by law, or to protect the Club’s security and integrity.
5. Safeguards
CMTC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including secure authentication,
encrypted data transmission, and restricted administrative access.
6. Data Retention
Personal and financial records are retained in accordance with Club operational requirements and Canadian legal
obligations.
7. Access and Accuracy
Members may review and request corrections to their personal information by contacting the Club.
8. Policy Updates
CMTC may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The current version will always be available within the App.
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CMTC App, members agree to comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable Club
by-laws and policies.
2. Permitted Use
The App may be used solely for viewing statements, making reservations, registering for events, and accessing
official Club communications.
3. Account Security
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and must report suspected
unauthorized access.
4. Financial Information Disclaimer
Account balances and statements are provided for convenience. Official Club accounting records shall prevail in
the event of discrepancy.
5. Reservation & Event Policies
All reservations and event registrations remain subject to applicable Club cancellation and guest policies.
6. Suspension or Termination
CMTC reserves the right to suspend or revoke App access if membership is not in good standing or misuse is
detected.
7. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided 'as is.' CMTC is not liable for temporary service interruptions or technical malfunctions
beyond reasonable control.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
